Our lab helps families and their young children navigate emotional and behavioral challenges together. Through parent training programs grounded in scientific research, we teach practical strategies that improve child behavior and strengthen parent-child relationships. Under Dr. Tamara Del Vecchio's supervision, doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. and School Psychology Psy.D. programs provide supportive parent programs that give families the tools they need to create positive change at home.
We bring practical parenting support directly to early childhood centers through free one-hour workshops for both parents and staff. Our workshop series covers essential topics that matter to families, including Understanding and Managing Misbehavior, Building Positive Play Time, Managing Stress, and more. These accessible sessions equip parents and childcare professionals with concrete strategies they can use right away to support children's healthy development.
